Some house musicians seriously need to stop using it, it's cliché and annoying.

Seems like the new cliche in movies is to mock older cliches; e.g., "Now, I suppose this is the part where you tell me your evil plan, then put me in an unnecessarily complicated trap?" "No. (Shoots hero.)"

in video games, like call of duty stuff..its blood in eyes. like its not even immersive. and its used wayyyy too much nowdays

Whispers in movies.

The villain finds one of the hero's loved ones and threatens him/her in order to get the hero to behave.

It doesn't work.

They were wrong.

You know what every trailer needs? Low brass pads and heavy bass drums. You can't have a trailer without those playing in the background. Preferably composed by Hans Zimmer.

I'm sorry, I have absolutely no problem with gay people, and am actively working to ensure that one in particular doesn't end up homeless, but there cannot possibly be that many gay people in the world that EVERY TV show has a couple.

There is such a thing as psychological horror. Creepy thoughts that don't rely on gore, death, or spoopy ghosts, but rather the dark recesses of the human mind.
