Questioning the Empire/First Order (Star Wars)
Why do the Empire/ First Order always make giant death planets with obvious weakspots? Why did Kylo Ren ask Han Solo to help him, before killing him? Who are Rey's parents? (Insert more star wars discussion here)

That was how Kylo Ren wanted Han Solo to help him. By allowing Kylo Ren to kill him.

Spoilers: Han Solo is the only thing keeping KR from fully accepting the Dark Side. He is the "temptation to the light" that KR talks about.

Because the Resistance would lose if it was that indestructible and we all know that the Resistance never loses.

I think it's 'cause the Sith and stuff are cocky about the quality of their troops and fleet. Of course, the Resistance and Rebel Alliance had better pilots.CaptnSunny wrote:"Why do the Empire/ First Order always make giant death planets with obvious weakspots?"

The death star had a tiny exhaust port for such a small station, which pushes things out. Its a miracle that the torpedoes went in.

Yeah, that.
From an engineering standpoint, the exhaust port should have been much more massive for a station that size, to be honest. They reduced it as much as they possibly could, and probably had problems venting exhaust as it was (or would have, if the station had lasted long enough).
