We're aware. It's just simpler to say "feminists" than "those annoying, loud, whiny feminists who don't have a damn clue."

Just like it's easier sometimes to say "Christians" than it is to say "homophobic, fundamentalist, idiot Christians without a shred of compassion." I know that's a minority of them, but in the middle of a discussion, it's sometimes simpler.

I feel like the biggest issue in thinking about feminism is making the distinction between radical female-superiority and equality feminism. It's easy for people to lump them both under "feminism", and that just makes things confusing--and it makes feminism easier to whale on.

Personally, I support normal feminism (those who want females to be equal to males) but to be quite honest I feel like society puts females above males whenever possible and disregards us males.
